You know , it is true , sitting in different city will not help , if you want to get admission then you must go directly to college and ask the old students.

Reply

Vimal , all colleges are same but you need to personally visit the college and ask the senior students about the college , its placements, its teachers, its environment as well.

Then only you would be able to get more information about the college.

Please comment on the MS ramaiah Inst of Management and its Placements?

Reply

Chief Editor March 19, 2010 at 10:58 pm

@Ram, I have visited MS Ramiah Institute myself and would like to say that it is one of the best institutes in Bangalore. It was way back in 2008 , but since then lot has changed so its better for you to visit the College yourself and check for the placements from old students.

@Chief Editor, what about pes management studies and its fee structure.??

Reply

Sumit April 23, 2010 at 2:19 am

@Chief Editor and the rest,

Kindly avoid RBS at all costs. It’s run by a bunch of frauds. They had started an Engineering College, Rai University, in Bangalore. I joined there. After 1 yr, by SC’s order, it was shut down. They were given some remeidal solutions but the management didnt acccept that. Los tmy 2 yeards there.

RBS, NIILM, IILM all are run by the same bunch of guys. Avoid all of these. A humble request.

Cheers,
Sumit

Sumit April 23, 2010 at 2:35 am

Correction:
The SC’s order came in my 2nd year. I joined in June 2003. Supreme Court’s order to de-rocogonize 100+ colleges came in Feb 2005

Thanks Sumit for the information. Yes many have started colleges as money hubs.

Chief Editor April 27, 2010 at 7:09 pm

@Sumit,

Really sorry sumit about your loss. UGC should take strict action before approving any college and should look at the ground level.

Alliance Business School has a name in Bangalore about their studies and placements but what is ground reality can be easily adjudged by going to college itself.

can anyone tell me more abt ITM bangalore campus and placements…
pls revert me babck as soon as possilble..

Reply

Chief Editor April 27, 2010 at 7:11 pm

@hemali,

Again , placements depend upon your caliber to study and also to bargain the company for money..

Reply

noma April 21, 2010 at 1:07 am

any idea how is rv college. any idea how r its placements is it a good college

Reply

Chief Editor April 27, 2010 at 7:11 pm

@noma, RVCE is a good college but they demand quite a bit of money as capitation fees. When I was in Bangalore they demanded Rs 3 Lakhs as capitation fees for MCA and it was year 2007. They must be demanding more now.

About placements, they gave placements but it all depends upon your caliber to bargain and studies as well.

i’ve never heard of this college … T John ….anyways pls let me know too about it pal …and wat abt it’s placements ?

Reply

Ravi June 5, 2010 at 6:18 am

@Mango,

TJohn : Really not heard of that college. Sitting in a different place and telling about placements is not the right thing. You need to visit the college and meet the senior students to get the real deal about the college.

Our College (which we did MBA) did advertise about full placements but we know what actual reality was. So I would advise you to personally visit the college.

i am joining Indian Business Academy. is it a gud college when we know that its nt affiliated by AICTE n what abt its placements.

Reply

Ravi June 5, 2010 at 6:22 am

@anish,

Anish, IBA is good College but do you Know AICTE approval is needed for MBA and degree courses. Even IIPM is not approved by AICTE then also the students get placements and very good placements.

The placement issue depends on what your Training and Placement Officer and College can do for you.

Mango May 31, 2010 at 12:07 pm

hey guys please help me out ….i’ve got a MAT percentile of just around 50 and i’m willing to pursue mba from bangalore from some institute where the placements are decent enough. aicte approval and MQ [not exceptionally big amount] does not matter for me. i just want a decent and good college. pls email me at – itsnotmytime@rediffmail.com

Reply

Ravi June 5, 2010 at 6:20 am

@Mango,

Hey, Management Quota is available in each and every college, some have 10 others have 30. Your MAT percentile does not matter if you take Admission in MQ. MAT score just serves your ticket to institution so that they do not get into any problem.

Acharya bangalore b school is good college of banglore? Pls reply

Reply

Ravi June 6, 2010 at 11:21 am

Hey Ajeet,

When I personally visited Acharya way back in 2008, it was expanding but the building , infrastructure was good. Teachers were good enough. There were students from all corners of India in Acharya and even foreign students were there.

Now the position has changed, Acharya B School is probably one of the Good B Schools in Bangalore and gradually increasing in rankings as well.

Sir, i’ve heard that BATS bschool offering mba for 1.5 lakhs is it true can i join there? but my doubt is its affiliated to rothak university? does it comes regular MBA or distance MBA ?

Reply

admin September 7, 2011 at 7:44 am

Yes it offers two year MBA / PGDM for 1.5 lakhs . I wouldn’t recommend you to join a B School for the sake of joining a B School . If you have a choice – go for top 5 B schools mentioned in the list otherwise take your time to prepare and get to a level where you can have a choice.

God, why these people make student so confused , Looking forward to take admission in “Acharya’, Now I have 3 ” Acharya” 1) Acharya Institute of Technology, MBA . 2) Acharya Institute of Managment and Science . 3) Acharya B school, MBA . So what know how to know which is good, no one provides proper fee structure on site…. Everone just want student’s to get in.
