When I logged into my Paypal Account today, I witnessed a new screen which showed a Update Account Information. In the Update Account Screen I had to enter my Mobile Number (To Contact in case of any issues) and the PAN Card Number which I held. I have a PAN Card for the last three years so I do not have any difficulties with PAN Card but with those who do not have a PAN Card right now they will face some sort of problems.
Recently PayPal has been in talks with Indian Regulatory Authority because of their Bank Account Withdrawals to India was not legitimate.

Getting PAN Card is very easy, it requires your one ID Proof and Address Proof. You can locate any nearby UTI Technologies Services Office by visiting UTI TSL website (mind you- site is very slow , will take time to load) and NSDL Website. This way you can obtain the PAN Card. The fees charged by UTITSL is Rs94 and you will get the PAN Card delivered to your home within 15-30 days by registered post.
You can fill in Online PAN Card Application from both UTI TSL and NSDL , UTITSL is not accepting payments via Credit Card while NSDL is accepting payments through Credit Card, Cheque or demand draft. If you do not have PAN Card till date then it is time for you to apply for PAN Card as it is easy and fast.
