On Tuesday Microsoft launched the developer preview of Internet Explorer 9. I was one of the persons to download and did not look at the warning that I.E 9.0 will not work on Windows XP . But when I downloaded this 14Mb install and tried to install this the error window which I saw was this kind of shown below.
As 69% of total computer users are still using Windows XP as their operating system , this move of not supporting Windows XP might prove to be beneficial for Microsoft as Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems users will only be able to use this software.
Microsoft has launched a website I.E Testdrive from where you can download the software i.e. I.E 9.0 developer preview but if your machine is running Windows 7 or at least Windows Vista SP2 then only you would be able to use it.
