If this is high then you would see ghost images, i.e. trails of the moving objects. This will render your fun useless if you are a die hard gaming fan. It should be around 3-5ms which works great and if it is even low then it would be good for fast gamers.
Power Consumption
Since CRT Monitors consumed a lot of power, and increased your bills. You should be looking at one thing and that is how much power your monitor is going to consume when it is running and when it is in idle state. The lesser the power consumption, the lesser you have to worry about electricity bills.

Since the evolution of LCD Monitors different things have been added to the menu, like USB ports, web cams, speakers etc. If you are looking for enhancements then it is ok otherwise everyone knows about the quality of Monitor speakers.
