Google is innovating new features day by day to keep people using its products, and one such product is Gmail. Which has become instant hit as soon as it was launched 6 years ago. Recently Google introduced a feature known as Drag and Drop to Gmail.
I heard about Drag and Drop when I was using computer for the first time in Computer Classes. This has become a very important feature when you try to use a Windows based PC. Now Gmail has introduced a new feature exclusive to Firefox 3.6 and Google Chrome users for now and the feature is Drag and Drop Attachments.
This feature is very much easy, you select the files from the folder and drag to your Gmail Compose window where you will see a green area, and then drop the files in that greeen box. All files will be added very much easily. No more of Attaching them with browse and attach feature.

Now as I use Chrome and Firefox 3.6, I will not have to look for files, instead directly attach the files. One more thing is that Drag and Drop feature is native to HTML 5 and since Firefox is based on Gecko layout engine it supports drag and Drop. Google Chrome and Safari are built on Webkit Layout Engine which partially supports Drag and Drop feature .
