In a major technological upgrade Skype has introduced a new beta feature to the newest version of their popular client Skype the Group Video Calling. The new beta version of Skype desktop software will support 5 way video calls.
This software is currently launched only for Windows users although company promised to launch the Mac Friendly version later this year as well. The Skype software is in a beta phase and so users might get some trouble in calling or there may be bugs in the software, and when the official version or stable version is released it will be free from bugs.
Main thing here, if you download this new version on your PC, then you should tell your mates, family or anyone whom you want to have a group video call that they also need to install this new version otherwise the group call will not function. Group calling is considered to one of the premium features that companies offer but right now Skype is offering this feature absolutely free but when the stable version is released they might associate some sort of fees or may be advertisements as well.
