Along with Nokia C1 the double Sim phone Nokia has launched Nokia C2 the first entry level dual sim mobile phone model , which primarily targets people in developing nations like India as different network operators have different tariff plans for voice and text.
One of the main features of Nokia C2 is its dual sim support, which means both the sim cards can be used at the same time in the phone. You can dial a friend using one sim and send a text using another sim . The placement of sim cards is also one feature, one sim card is placed under battery while other one is on the body and is “hot swappable“, meaning that you can remove the sim card and insert any other sim card without turning off the mobile phone.
One of the major differences between Nokia C1 and Nokia C2 is the interface they work on. While Nokia C1 will be on Series 30 interface the Nokia C2 will be on Series 40 interface and thus can offer amazing features like Nokia Ovi Life Tools, chat account and mail via Nokia Messaging. Nokia C2 comes with a FM Radio and music player support and has support for up to 32GB expandable memory.

Pricing : Since the mobile phone has been targeted to users in developing countries therefore the pricing is very much affordable and will be priced at €45 which translates to around $55 (4th June 2010 Exchange Rate) and the Pricing in India would be approximately around Rs 2700 to Rs 2800 before taxes and subsidies. Rates in India may go higher if the model will attract high custom duties etc.
Nokia C2 is scheduled to be ready by the end of fourth quarter this year and available globally as well.
