One of the most innovative features of Safari 5 is the Safari Reader. It basically removes all the advertisements and distractions from the webpage and renders the plain artilce to its users. It is of great use if the user is in a bit off hurry and needs to scan quickly through the news item or the article.
Enabling or activating the Safari Reader Mode in Safari 5 is very easy. If you are you are viewing an article in a webpage , Safari will automatically detect the article and enable the Reader mode. To enter the reader mode, all you have to do is to click the Reader icon on the right hand side of the address bar.
If for any reason Safari doesn’t detect article you can manually enable the Reader Mode. To enable it manually Click on View in Menu Bar and Select Enter Reader Mode.
To exit the reader mode , simply
1 Click anywhere in the background or
2 Click the cross icon in the reader mode or
3 Press Escape or
4 Click Reader Icon in the address bar
While the Safari Reader is quite good , you wont be able to view videos in the reader mode.
