All major 3G service providers have launched their services in most of the states. The 3G networks are capable of carrying very high speeds and work on the device as well as on the USB Modems, therefore to cope up with the advances of 3G services Reliance Communications have announced a substantial drop in prices of Netconnect devices(both High Speed and CDMA 1X).
As you know initially the device’s price was Rs 3500 which was then reduced to Rs 2299 and then to Rs 1599, the latest price drop brings the price to Rs 1299 for Reliance Netconnect Broadband+ devices and for Reliance Netconnect devices the price would be Rs 999 only. The customer has to decide which segment he wants to opt for whether prepaid or postpaid.
Along with drop in Prices Reliance has introduced several new plans for Postpaid and Prepaid in its High Speed Segment.
Prepaid Rs 98 Plan : This offers 512 MB data on High Speed( up-to 3.1Mbps) and then unlimited free with only 1 Day’s Validity(expires 11.59 PM same day of recharge)
Postpaid Advance Rental Rs 2523 Plan : This is a postpaid plan which offers monthly 5Gb at speeds of up-to 3.1Mbps and then unlimited at 144Kbps. This advance rental is valid for 12Months, after 12 months the rental would be Rs 750 per month.
As Reliance EVDO services capable of carrying high speeds( up to 3.1Mbps) are now available in around 500 cities so all these cities can easily enjoy high speed wireless internet and the cities where the EVDO service is not yet available CDMA 1X network( speeds up to 144Kbps) would work seamlessly.
