BIMTECH or Birla Institute of Management & Technology is one of the premier management institutes in India. Located in Greater Noida, BIMTECH provides an ideal location for students to learn.

Birla Institute of Management Technology was established in 1988 supported by Birla group of companies. Dr. (Smt.) Sarala Birla, chairperson of Birla Academy and Syt. B K Birla, chairperson of B K Birla Group of companies are the founders of this business school.

BIMTECH uses CAT scores to select the students for admissions. Other parameters that BIMTECH uses while considering a student for admission are listed below.

BIMTECH is currently offering the following management courses:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) : This course is a two year full time course and is approved by AICTE, MHRD, Government of India.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) : This is a three year part time courses and is approved by AICTE, MHRD, Government of India.
• Post Graduate Diploma in International Management (PGDIB) : PGDIB is a full time two year course.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Insurance Business Management (PGDIBM) : This is a two year full time course approved by AICTE, MHRD, Government of India.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Retailing and Merchandising Management (PGDRMM) : PGDRMM ia a two year full time course.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management (PGDIRM) : PGDIRM is a one year full time course
• Post Graduate Diploma in Retailing and Merchandising for Executives (PGDRMX) : One year full time course.
The last date for applying to BIMTECH is 25th January. The cost of the form is Rs 1500 and it can be obtained at branches of AXIS bank and some coaching institutes.

Placements

BIMTECH has been providing 100% placements to all the enrolled students with average salary figure being around Rs 5 Lakhs.

Highest Salary at BIMTECH was Rs 7.5 lakhs and lowest Rs 3.5 lakhs

dont know about management seat, but the collg has corporate sponsored and NRI seats… it will colst u 11 Lakh
merit seat is 7 lakh…

Cut-off for MBA(general) and MBA(IB) is 70 percentile in CAT 2009
for retail management and insurance, it is 60 percentile…

maybe due to CAT fiasco, the cutoffs have decreased substantially…

but main concern is if the collg has a good ROI or not… 5 lakh avg on 7 lakh investment does not sound very luring

no shivani you cant, the least they are calling up is 70%ile i guess.a friend of mine got 67 n he wasnt called.another got 70 and he got a call :)

Hey Neha ,
First Congratulations on getting admissions to BIMTECH Noida .
I have visited this college once and was amazed to see such a college. My bad luck was that there was no students that time, but with the people living in Noida and students in neighboring colleges (Galgotia etc ) response was pretty good about studies and placements.

I must say if you are going to BIMTECH Noida then you have to be the best.
