All of you know about Windows 7, the latest Operating system from Microsoft. It was launched on 22 October 2009 . Since it’s launch , it has gained popularity and now today at a Morgan Stanley Tech Conference, Microsoft’s Peter Klien announced that 90 million Windows 7 licenses have been sold to date, making it the fastest selling operating system in history.
According to statistics Windows 7 surpassed the market share of Apple’s Snow Leopard in November 2009 i.e. within 2 weeks of it’s launch. In early February statistics revealed that the market share of Windows 7 has reached to 10% that too in just three months of launch of the operating system.
According to Neowin : Microsoft is currently readying its first Service Pack for Windows 7 and a beta version is expected in June with a public release in September this year.
