Journey To Headache- Part 2

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

It was an all night journey And train was scheduled to depart at 8:45 in night and reach the destination at 5:10 in morning. i was there in my seat at 8:15 pm and waiting for fellow passengers, I was hoping it to be some what better this time but as usual in came a family of 7 to occupy all the left seats in my compartment of 8 people. You are no more than 3 feet away from you fellow passenger in train but these people some how thought that their family members were at the other end of the train and shouted to even call names of each other . How ridiculous?

headache.gifIts not that bad when a family is minority as compared to other isolated members of the same compartment – say 2 or 3 family members and 5 or 6 other individual passengers but it is nothing short of a war like situation when the ratio goes as high as 7:1 as was in my case. Entire night I was exposed to high volume of troublesome noises and idiotic conversations about how good it is to reserve the seat in advance and how good the food prepared at home is when compared with the junk food. It is this kind of people that spoil your journey.Well all they talked about ended up in my head and it took three pills for me to actually get it out of my head.

That is my journey to headache , feel free to tell me yours.

Journey to headache- part 1

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

I don’t really like traveling. Its not that I have any problem adjusting to different places but it is just the journey part that gives me headache and it is not without a reason. I clearly remember how desperate i was to get out of train during my last journey.
In our railways system there are 5 classes for people to travel. 3 ac, a sleeper, and a general. Sleeper and ac have to be pre reserved while you can have a general ticket any time.headachnbe.gif

The difference between prices of general and sleeper class is not much while for a ac ticket one has to pay almost 8 times that of general class. With increasing income more and more people are going for sleeper class ticket. So what do we have as a result - Large number of people with no train manners shouting in loud voices coming into sleeper class which is hot favorite class among students like me. That’s why I hate traveling.
Last time I had journey of about 500 km. it was an all night journey….

Little country with more options

Last year one student from our graduation went to Japan for a conference and we call him as chotu. You might not believe that a 14 year old kid was with us in the graduation classes, and last year because of some international organization he was able to travel to Japan. After coming from Japan , he told us all about the life of Japan and their people and all that he could visit (He was not allowed at many places.) He told us that tokyo hotels have quite decent type of stuff and the particular hotel he was staying in arranged a translator for them.

Chotu , was not able to understand the japanes language and so when he had to go for tokyo travel, he had to take the translator with him so that he may guide taxis or anyone driving to help him with the travel he intended to do. So , overall he found it nice and good when he stayed in Japan and especially Tokyo. In between his journey was planned by an international NGO but if you plan your travel , then be sure to visit JapaneseLifestyle.com.auplan your travel or booking in hotels. What would you get is up to 70% savings.

Madrid Spain

Saturday, January 5th, 2008

You must be thinking I am mad as I am writing some other language , but do not worry about anything I am not out of my mind , I am writing about Madrid Spain , as I read in a online journal , when you go to Madrid (Spain) , you should go to
Basilica de San Francisco El Grande (Church of San Francisco) as it is one of the most famous monuments in Spain and especially in Madrid. I do not know much about this Church but still what I know is that it was the church was completely built up in the 18th century under the leadership of Carlos 3 and was assembled or erected on the site of a Franciscan convent.

Speaking of the location , it is situated in the outer or the older part of Madrid and old classic looks so called as neo-classical facade is worth looking. You can get elaborately carved doors as the ancient people were artistic and other things like the vaulted ceiling and 108 foot high dome which is considered as as the true architectural piece of work.

Speaking about the dome , it is bigger/larger than St. Paul’s Cathedral in Rome so you can imagine the height of the dome.. So are you planning to visit the city. I hope you would be keen enough to visit the place as I am keen to visit Europe but you know that VISA’s are not too easy to obtain and so are passport this is why my passport is still stuck in the no where.

Boating in the sun

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

I was reading an article on a famous article site , where I came to know about the fact that when you get in to trouble , you need to save some money at first buy something to get yourself out of trouble incase the trouble comes…. Gosh ! what has boating to do with trouble , and my answer would be when you boat a lot in the open sea , you would never want to get busted out because of your batteries , what the author of that article was trying to say and I can guess that from the affirmative voice of the writing.

When you have to spend $2000 on a particular thing which is quite nice ( In my opinion ) but imagine some person has boat , speeding boat but do not have that creepy dollars to spend as of now so what should be done by him , either he/she should not go for boating or he should purchase that shitty $2000 thing in case of an emergency as the author describes. So what , you have be prepared while the so called trouble can come your way anytime.. Good luck
