Google Chrome – The fourth most used browser has now its own extensions, called as chrome extensions. It is now possible for enthusiasts like me to try more with chrome with its extensions.
Chrome the browser was released by Google in its public stable beta form in December last year , and users across the world were waiting for the extensions which would help the users to use it more easily and get most out of this fast browser. You must be knowing that in the shares of Browsers Internet Explorer is ruling the web, but Firefox is not behind, and it survives the race because of its numerous extensions available.
Since 8th December 2009, Google Chrome has its own extensions , but sadly it is available for beta versions which are running a Version 4.X.X.X on their machine. If you are running a version 3.0 on your PC/Laptop then you need to install this Version 4 which is in public beta and you can try different chrome extensions.

If you see the message above then you should upgrade your Version3 Google chrome to Version 4 beta release to enjoy the chrome extensions.
I myself downloaded the version 4 to run the chrome extensions on my machine, and the first one to be installed is the Gmail Checker which you can find as

Just Click the Button which states Install and you will get a screen as

After Clicking the install button on this dialog box , the chrome extension would be successfully installed.
Once you install Chrome Extensions your Google Chrome Browser would look somewhat like this , {this is mine , Click on the image to view full image in new window/tab }
This is how you install new chrome extension in your Google Chrome Browsers.
