Mahesh,

truly agree with you. When reading your comments, i am remembering my experience.

Reliance does not care or worry about their customer issues or concerns or problems wit h their internet service.

The customer support is too bad. they say 24 to 48 hrs , but never happens. It is better to go with local service providers rather than Reliance.

LS cable network service is good . timely and responsive when we call them.

This is absolutely true, it makes us how commercial oriented not service oriented. No one cares to give 500 a month if service is good.

5) in their office (a) no one knows who is whose boss (b) everyone was telling different things (c) no one was interested to listen to customer but only interested if its about taking money from customers.

Just because of the bad service, i disconnected service for that also they took 2 weeks to take their istrument.
They could not resolve the basic problems , they bind mac id intentionally.
even though we disconnect, they ask for money, and call continoulsly. No one at Rel office bother about customer satisifaction.

they again say , we will send legal notice and threaten customer. such a stupid teams. If we ask top management teams email id's for conveying the customer issues, they wont give.

Such a stupid team and customer service working ....

Reliance Netconnect Broadband service sucks big time!!!!!

I have been using reliance netconnect since last 3 months and I am regretting it big time.

I upgraded from netconnect 1X to broadband hoping for the better speed and it does offer a good resonable speed at times but every now and then it's speed falls below 10 kbps. Imagine that, the google home page takes around 1 minutes to load.

I can understad that 3.1 mbps speed is not feasible at all times but guys 256 kbps is a default requirement.

Maybe the service is good in some areas for anyone considering this service in Govindpuri, Kalkaji, New delhi. IT IS A STRICT NO NO....

BETTER BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@utkarsh agrawal,
Utkarsh right now only 2 providers i.e. BSNL and MTNL are provinding 3G services in India and other major players like Airtel , Vodafone and Idea are bidding on 3G Spectrum which has been released by Department of Defence.

This bidding will go on till Mid of this year and may be by end of this year , or early next year you could see 3G services.

On the other hand if you prefer , you can always go on with Wired broadband from different providers.

Wired connections are still better than wireless connections.

Hey Utkarsh,

I am really sorry to hear that there is no network in your area. I think if there is no network in your area, there is nothing they can do. But you can do one thing, if prior to purchase of the device they claimed that you will be given network in your area then you can file the case on the behalf of that (It should be in writing or Written), otherwise best option is to dump the device and see other options.
Wait for some time and 3G Services are coming. In 3G services , you will get speeds of up to 1.5 Mbps on your current mobile phones(3G Enabled). or if you are in an area served by BSNL , then go for BSNL EVDO providing speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps with unlimited data transfer.

Hey Utkarsh ,
As I mentioned in the earlier comment itself, EVDO's typically provide same bandwidth to many users simultaneously, If users in your area have increased , the speeds might get slow. Try one thing use the USB cable provided with the Reliance Net Connect device to get maximum signals and then use it.
Or try at different time.
If at different time i.e. off peak time i.e. Night after11 pm, or in the morning before 8 am. Are you able to get the full speeds, if the answer is yes then make an official complaint to Reliance regarding the speed at the particular times. and if your answer is no then make a complaint regarding the device not working properly.

Hey Perry,
Tata with Photon + and BSNL with EVDO are providing speeds upto 3.1Mbps which is great. Typically EVDO speed depends upon the number of users under that particular tower, so if there are 1000 users then bandwidth is going to be shared with all of them therefore the speeds will be down. Tata Photon + is not available in all cities , BSNL EVDO if present can be a good option as there are no caps on data transfer which are present in all other devices.

As far as MTS is concerned , I can say one thing for sure they have new technologies and they will be delivering as promised but then again they also have data Cap in bandwidth. So think wisely and choose well.
