Disabling the MSN Toolbar
Disabling or Hiding the toolbar is a great option if you are looking to increase the viewing area of the browser. IE 8 makes it super easy to do this.
You can read our detailed tutorial about hiding toolbars or simply follow the instructions given below.

On the pop window that appears click disable. It will disable the MSN Toolbar

To enable it “Right Click anywhere on the Menu Bar and select MSN toolbar

OR

Removing the MSN toolbar in IE 8 Permanently
Unlike Firefox, IE 8 does not provide you the facility to remove toolbars from the browser itself. All the toolbars are installed on your computer and have to be removed from Add/Remove Programs option. That isn’t too hard either.
In Windows XP
Click Windows start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
Or
Click Start > Run. Type appwiz.cpl and press enter.
In the currently installed program list Click on MSN Toolbar and Click Remove.
MSN Toolbar will be removed permanently from your system.
In Windows Vista
Click Windows start > Control Panel > Programs and Features
Or
Click Start > Click in the Start Search box. Type appwiz.cpl and press enter.
In the Uninstall or change program list, click MSN Toolbar, and then click Uninstall.
This simple process should remove MSN toolbar from your computer.
